Question: sometimes i smell bad 'down there' when i am on my period, but not usually, cause i wash it all the time when i am on my period.

that's funny, my boyfriend just did that to me 2 days ago for the very first time. i was totally new to it too, and i had the same fear you did. but he said it tasted too (hehe) and there was no bad smell at all. usually it smells a little weird to me but i think guys are just so hyper and stuff that they dont even notice. so have fun girl! dont worry about a thing.
