Period.......?!

Question: The last few months my period gets earlier and earlier. I have always had a pretty regular cycle(27-29 days)...Lately however its been more like a 23-25 day cycle.... I wasn't expecting my period until next sunday and it showed up yesterday! It drives me nuts. Whats causing this? Does having sex on a regular basis do this?

It doesn't have anything to do with having sex on a regular basis...sounds like you may need to have your hormone levels checked if you're worried. Periods have been known to bounce around a bit...possibly see your gyne about a low doseage birth control pill to regulate it.

I don't know what's causing it but I do know that sex on a regular basis does NOT cause it. Put your mind at ease about that.

r u stressing about anything in particular in your life... stress always interferes with menstrual cycles

no sex doesn't cause this....cycles are usually funky like that..the only thing that regulates them is the pill.sometimes I go 2 months without a period..but I have PCOS

It could be caused by many factors such as age and diet. These are only two possibilities. I've never heard of having sex as a cause of changing your period schedule.

No. If it comes any earlier the 21 days, you may want to see your GYN.

Well it depends how long you've had it. If you haven't had your period for one to two years than you should have irregular periods.

to me that sounds normal!!

go to the doctors if you think something wrong with it

it's not the sex that's causing it.don't be so freaked out about it.our bodies change all the time

I had this problem before and it got really frustrating. I ended up having to be put on the pill for three months to get regulated. And having regular sex shouldn't change you cycle at all.
