What are the signs of Rape Trauma Syndrome?!

The symptoms in the acute phase are similar to shock and in the longer term similar to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
My step-daugther has PTSD from being almost raped.
Depression
Fear of being alone, fear of the dark
Anxiety
Inability to sleep (insomnia)
Flashbacks
Bad dreams

How can you not know if you were raped. Ever girl I have ever met and befriended who were raped even date rape knew that they were raped.
Anyway, most of them told me that they felt weired down there, or they hurt, had scratches or even semen left on their bodies or bedding's. They also told me that there was a feeling of dread, emotional dread. If you have any of these then chances are some thing has happened. Was this last night if so don't take a shower if you haven't already and go to the hospital or Dr. to get checked out. if you shower any evidence left on or in your body will get washed off and the person will get away with it.
