Bleeding when not on period?!

Question: My last period only ended about 10 days ago but I've been bleeding ever since yesterday. There have been a few times when I've bled lightly for just a day or two in between periods, but I'm bleeding like it's a regular period right now. Here's some info for you guys: I'm 15, not on birth control, not sexually active, just started my period last year. I know it's normal to have irregular periods since I'm young, but is this really normal? Should I go to the doctor or what? I'm going to go anyway for a checkup on March 3rd, so maybe I should ask then?

I work for an OB/GYN and this is probably more common than you would think. I'd say about 30% of our appointments are for young girls with irregular menses. I'm sure there is nothing wrong. Talk to your gynocologist about it anyways when you go in and see what she/he suggests. She/he may even put you on birth control just to regulate them.

It is Normal for some women to experience that, it has happened to me once before and is nothing to worry about!!

its most likely spotting, just the left overs from your previous cycles..you may want to ask about it at your physical but otherwise you should be perfectly okay:]

I hear when hormones rise, your period may just start.

I have some blood spotting after a couple days my period
ended. I'm pretty sure it's normal. Since you started a year
ago.

You should go to the doctors to get a check up. also, are you stressed out, hows your diet, are you active? there are different possiblities but, dont worry its probably nothing big. more than anything its probably annoying but yeah, get a check up and let them know.

It can take along time for your hormones to settle down & believe it or not being around other women can effect our cycles too. My daughter has recently started her periods & I don't know whether I am coming or going - I was like that too when I lived at home with my mum.

I wouldn't worry too much but mention it to your doctor as he knows you medical history.

Growing Up is a pain, I'm 36 & still struggling with it all !!!!
God help my kidz, all four of them.

Best Wishes
