I would definitely see your doctor. If it is clear it is just your bodies natural way of cleaning and preventing infections, but if it is cloudy or colored you should check it out. I read about the different types on here. http://womans-health.net/vaginal-dischar...
I hope this helps.

It's called Leukorrhea, normal vaginal discharge that
is controlled by hormones and the foods that you eat,
eg. Milk products, medications etc.

sounds like a yeast infection, i would see your doctor.

Yeast infections are not always caused by sexual contact. They are caused by moisture and tight clothing that doesn't breathe. They are very common in women who are not or have never been sexually active. An over the counter cure is almost always 100% effective in curing them. Monistat 3 is what I would suggest.

It's possible that you have an infection, but it's also highly likely that you are at a point in your cycle when you produce this type of cervical fluid. Have you had this in the past? You say you don't have any other symptoms, and typically a yeast infection (which can have white discharge) itches and burns. Other types of infection usually result in colored discharge and odd smells. I would say if it continues to consult your doctor, but women do have that type of discharge during cycles when their body is gearing up to ovulate. HTH!
;)

More likely, you had a yeast infection after you had a discharge. If I were you check your doctor. Most women do get white stuffs discharge. It's normal.

if you cannot afford to see a doctor.. then go to your local county health dept.. call them.. tell them the trouble and you want to have yourself checked.. they are supported by your taxes and that sort of ailment is what they are interested in.. they will only charge you a pittance.. call them.. and then go get some yogurt and eat it.. yogurt is famous for treating vaginal yeast infections.. google it and see for youself.. by the wa.. I am a guy..goodluck

Hi,, the cottage cheese look , pretty much says you have a yeast infection. My doctor used to make fun of it. If you've never had a yeast infection before, my best advise would be to go and see your doctor. He can better explain, why even tho your not sexually active, this can happen. One of the biggest causes in non sexually active women is that they douche to often. Plz, go see your doctor. You'll be glad you did,, Hope this helps

yeast infection. if you dont get to a doctor to get it treated it'll keep coming back and before you know it, after you next period, it'll start looking like cottage cheese instead of just the creamy stuff. its gross so just get the antibiotics for it so it wont be a problem later on.

How much water do you drink?

This should help you decide:

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge is normal. You will also have your own 'scent'. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period
