How do I insert tampon?!
Question: I've spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to insert a tampon. I can't find the right hole and whenever I try pushing it in it hurts, it just doesn't feel right. can someone help please?

first, get lite/slimmer tampons or the ones with a really slick applicator, like tampax pearl. you need to be relaxed to insert a tampon. try practice inserting one after taking a shower, when all your muscles are relaxed. or you could try putting one foot on the bath tub or toilet. if you have trouble finding your spot, place a mirror on the floor and squat over it. hold the tampon at the middle of the applicator, where the ridges are at, and slide it up until your fingers touch your body. it should not hurt, nor should you feel it. if you do, then it's not far enough in.

Look on the box of tampons, there's usually a guide on how to do it and how to insert it comfortably. If this is your first time using a tampon, it can be uncomfortable. You'll get used to it though.
look tampax should have a little guide to show you how to use it. or your mom. if youre as young as we think you are then you need ultra super LIGHT tampons that are very small. my sisters a virgin and she doesnt like using them because its uncomfortable for her! i am not and have no problem using them. im 21, shes 23.
anyway umm.... i think the paper that comes in it says the best way to do it first time is with one foot on the floor one on the lid of the toilet (lid down of course) and i mean...... just kinda feel around? its the first hole after your belly button :)
your urethra should not be big enough for you to get confused. youll know you did it right if when you tug the cotton string and it comes out bloody o_O
yeah its an icky subject. your mom should be able to help. or some sort of sister? i just folllowed the directions that came with it!
also in general u stop bleeding once yuo get in water, and i used to know someone who would just wipe using baby wipes and get in real fast before she started bleeding again. im not too much a fan of that but it is an option.
