No, this isn't normal for it to be so loose for a long period.

If you don't feel sick, try a few things:
Make sure you eat enough fiber (fruits and veggies--the potato is your pal), at least five servings per day, every day
Add whole grains to your diet. That's bread, pasta, etc.
Stop drinking soft drinks completely
Stop using any artificial sweetener or artificially sweetened foods or drinks
Eat less fat of any/every kind--butter or margarine, cheese, mayonnaise, nuts, peanut butter, foods more than 30% total calories from fats

These changes aren't real hard to work into a normal diet, and it's only temporary. If you do it all at once and are good about it, you should see improvement in 3 days or so. If you don't within a week, call the doctor.

No It's not normal!! Go visit your doctor now!! It could be a serious problem!!

I don't know to be honest, I would suggest going to the doctor as it could be irritable bowel syndrome or a sensitivity to something you eat. I always get it at my "time of the month" and I know how much of a pain it is so you have my sympathy. I'm only 14 by the way so you don't have to listen to me lol xx

you may have chron's or colitits

No, it is not normal to have it that long. What kind of diet do you have? If you eat a fatty diet, with few veggies fruit or grains, you may not be getting enough fiber. Try to add more of the foods I mentioned, or try a fiber additive like benefiber. If this does not improve the situation, you may need to contact your doctor. As long as you feel fine, and there is no pain or bleeding associated with the diarrhea, it is probably not serious. But if the problem persists, you should get it checked out.

Go to the doctor! It's not normal

I take Over the Counter Stuff For mine, Esp before going places,
Cus i have Bowel troubles anyway,

see a dr.

Try Metamucil or a fiber supplement. It will add bulk to your stool. Also, take calcium. Calcium is like swallowing chalk pills and it will also help form your stools.

But fiber is the biggest help for me.

This is not normal and please contact your doctor immediately because this could be a Digestive Disorder. You could have bacterial or viral infections or IBS and certain foods that you are eating could cause this. But to be on the safe side please consult your physician and take a fecal sample into him/her because they will ask for it later. And you will probably go to a Gastro doctor.

it could be IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) or perhaps stress. Are you stressed out at home? At work? School? anything can cause loose stools and that includes a change in eating habits, have you been eating a lot of fiber lately? did you recently go on a diet? Are you on any new kind of medications? there could be many answers to this problem but you should ask your doctor about it and see what she/he says

it isn't normal, you need to visit your doctor

When you have direaha it usually means your body is trying to get rid of something. Since you have had it so long you need to see a doctor. There has to be a medical reason you have had it so long.

You're weird.

You need help.

Asscrack.

I would definately go see your doctor...it could be irritable bowel syndrome...you could also be lacking fiber in your diet...

I sometimes feel I have the same problem sometimes too...I think stress is a big factor of the runs (or constipation) all the time...

Disclaimer first: See a physician. He might want to do a GI Series which is a scope of your intestines. Other testing besides quite possible.

That said, diet is key; so much more important than "Westerners" (myself included) realize. We ignore fiber in a big way. We, unabashedly, consume fats, sugar, processed food, etc .

When your habits are such, you are not allowing your organs to function as they should. Your colon will not release solid fecal matter but rather weak gaseous matter.

And here's the thing - where is the rest of this "matter", which passes through your body, going? It is sticking to the sides of your colon (a tunnel with detritus stuck to the wall). The tunnel (your colon) gets narrow and weak, making it difficult for normal traffic to pass through and eventually could spring a leak (peritonitis). And that is very serious, indeed.

This is only one possibility, but it is the simple and most common reason for symptoms you describe.

Pleese take further steps. you're on the right TRACK, asking for help!

To understand if something is normal first you need to define normal. So what is normal? Normal is what most people experience, you need to look at statistical data to figure out if something is normal most of the time. Is diarrhea normal. No, and you can prove it to yourself by going around your neighborhood and asking people if they have it? More than likely they will say no, which makes you the deviant, proving that diarrhea isn't normal.

So now that you know that it isn't normal, go to a medical doctor! Why?

When diarrhea occurs, your body is becoming dehydrated. This can only go on so long before you start suffering adverse consequences.

Without water, the human body will rapidly deteriorate and stop functioning at it's best. Therefore, stay as hydrated as you can, and go to the doc soon. Remember, it's not normal, and even if it were in your neighborhood, it just isn't normal for you.

no! go see your doctor!!!
