What kind of contraception should I try now?!

Question: Help!
I'm running out of ideas on what to try. I've got three kids and don't want any more for the time being but we're not ready for permanant sterilisation yet.
I've tried both types of pill, combined makes me gain weight and the mini pill is too easy to miss (with the 3 three hour window). I had a really bad reaction to the injection and had really heavy, painful periods when I had a coil.
I haven't got a problem with condoms but my husband would rather not!
Any ideas?
