It's not logical for a woman to think that her anus is NOT going to smell bad. Face it. ALL buttholes WILL STINK whether one likes it or not, some more than others depending on what the diet is.
The gyno chose to be a gyno, and so chose the path of sticking fingers in smelly places, especially a vagina. Some women may not keep that place clean. They may have infections that cause things to ooze cottage cheese and emanate fish odor down there, but that's what gynos chose for a job.
Save for the newbie gynos, they've probably done so many paps and checkups, it probably doesn't even matter anymore what they see or smell. I'm sure uncleanliness down there does bother them; maybe they wished some people would take better care of their goods.
Although if you toot right in their faces, I'm sure it'll be something to remember. Don't eat gassy foods for 24 hours beforehand! lol That's the only surefire way to prevent something like that from happening.
It is all part of the job. They have seen it all. Definitely not a job for just anyone.
Some ask the patient to cleanse herself with wipes provided and others just ignore it and continue the exam.
