[YAZMIN Birth Control Question] What If I Changed My Mind About Gettin My Period!

Question: Ok...Well I'm taking the White Inactive Pills right now to get my period. But something has come up that I have to do this week & don't want to get my period anymore.

I have already took 3 [Sun, Mon, Tue]...& I'm going to take the 4th one today. I haven't got my period YET...

So I was wondering if I can just start taking the Yellow Active Pills on my next pack the I'm supposed to start when I'm done with all the WHITE pills.

& if it's possible...do I just jump to my WED pill instead of starting wit the first pill of the pack which would be SUN.

Well I hope you guys have some good answers! Thanx for the answers in advance.

You can start on the new pack of pills, which ever day you choose. It is possible that you will have a bit of bleeding still, since you have not had any hormones for a few days.

If you delay your periods often, you should ask about getting a DEPO shot. My friend goes to the doctor every three months for hers, and hasn't had a period since she started taking the shots 6 months ago. Her doctor said that it was fine to do that.

If you already started taking the placebos you're probably going to still get your period, even if you start taking the hormonal pills right away. This could possibly screw up the whole cycle and could make you off track, make you bleed longer, etc. I don't think it would cause perminate damage or anything like that, but doing what you want to try to do can make your period worse than it would be if you just let it come on its own.
