Doctor question?!
Question: hey people, im just wondering wether i can go to my doctors 2 see if i have a yeast or bv infection? or do i have 2 go 2 a sexual health clinic? as i dont want 2 waste the doctors time going there when they dont test for it? please help.....thanx in advance for answers!!!!!!!...x

If you are only concerned about these 2 infections your GP is fine. The practice nurse can take an HVS ( High Vaginal Swab) and the result will be available in 48-72 hours.
Both can do it--when you make your appt. the receptionist will tell you if doctor is qualified--but any physician is.

No, you can go to your regular doctor.. They may have to refer you to OBGYN, but for the most part, your regular physician should be able to diagnose and treat you.
you can go to your doc for that.
Its fine to go to your doc's don't worry about wasting there time that's what they're paid for. And besides they are only G.P's anyway (General Practitioner) they'll tell you if you need to see someone specific!
you look 2 nice to have any infections
call your doctors office and tell them you need to be referred to a gyn for a personal femine problems. They'll refer you to someone and you can get an appointment with the gyn. Just tell the gyn office that you think you have b/v or yeast infection and you need to be tested so they can get you in immediately for it.
Just go to your regular doctor, the one you see when you are sick or something else. If you really think you have a yeast infection, you should see an OB/GYN, or what is called a gynecologist. They specialize in women's health.
You should be able to go to your family practitioner. Tell them when you call to make an appointment what you need. If they need to they can give you a referrel
