A question about my period- i'm scared!?!
Question: So i have had my period since i was early 13. I have started to get into a mainly regular schedule. I start on about the tenth of every month. But im a little worried because for a few days theres been an odor and today some dark dark brown stuff has come out

Don't be scared, first of all. The dark brown "stuff" that you are seeing is old blood and it is normally the remainder from your last period. As a woman it is normal to have a little bit of an odor with your period, and if it is before or after your period then maybe you have a bacterial infection. I understand its not allot of fun to talk about such issues but if you still notice an odor after a few days then maybe you should see a Dr. you will need an antibiotic for a bacterial infection.

Dont be scared. It is probably old blood and it is the 6th of the month so maybe your period is starting a bit earlier. I would just wait for next month and if it happens again I would go and see the doctor
This happened to me as well, my dr. told me it was "old blood" that was left in the uterus the last time. I'd at least call my doctor or wait a month and see if it happens again...as long as there is not pain and you go on into your regular looking period.
I wouldn't be too worried. It sounds like you're "spotting" (when your period starts slowly with older blood.) It can often be darker in nature. It happens to me all the time. Typically dark brown isn't the color of infection. If there is still an odor and strange color to your discharge after your period, consider making a doctors appointment. Good luck.
