Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) she needs antibiotics. You can buy AZO cranberry pills and cystex pills at any store, that will help with the pain, and keep the infection from spreading for a little while, but she needs antibiotics, it could turn into a kidney infection. It happened to me. I had to go to the ER because my UTI became a kidney infection.

The first answer is right, but you should also know that you cannot take AZO or other medications for relief before you go to the doctor, because they won't be able to test your urine for the infection. If they can't test then they can't prescribe anything because they won't know the exact cause of the problem.

shes pregnat......lol

Its not frequent sex that caused UTI, the problem is with about 10% of the female population who suffer from recurrent UTI's due to the way they are built in the vaginal area (proximity of the urethra to the vaginal openin if I am explaining myself correctly) each push of the penis during sex might shove the various bacteria into the sterile bladder. There are several way to overcome this problem one of which is taking antibiotics before having sex. But this must be discussed with either a gynecologist or a urologist.
