Ok i have the iud a form of birthcontrol and i have two toddlers....?!
Question: BUT SINCE IVE GOTTEN IT MY PERIOD COMES LIKE EVERY 5 TO 6 MONTHS I DONT HAVE PAINS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT BUT THE TIME BETWEEN MY PERIOD WORRIES ME, I ASKED THE DOCTOR ABOUT MY PERIODS BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT MIGHT JUST BE THE IUD BUT HE SAID MY PERIODS SHOULD STILL BE NORMAL AND EVERY MONTH...SO NOW IM WORRIED DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE? AND WUT ARE YOUR SYMPTOMS WITH THE IUD? THANKS.......

I too have an IUD and get my period every so often.... My doctor (Gyn) told me it was normal not to have it every month and when i do have it it is only a few days and very light... I still get the cramping a little and the sore boobs every month.... Did you ask your regular doctor or your GYN doctor?
My experience:
back in October I went to see my primary doctor cuz i hadn't had my period for 2 months i had my IUD for 3 years and my periods were normal every month until July and then it just stopped. I wasn't pregnant I told her i had an IUD and she said that my missing period wasn't from that they did all sorts of tests, ultasounds and all that junk and nothing.... so i decided it was time to see my GYN and she said oh yeah your period can stop and come like that it is perfectly normal.... so i believed her and enjoyed the months that i don't get it....
I also have an IUD and I rarely have a period, and barley ever have a normal one when it does arrive. So I wouldnt worry about it too much. Plus my doctor told me that it was very possible this would happen. Just remeber that you have to get it replaced (depending on what kind you have) every 5 years. I hope that helped.
