I've been under ALOT of stress and now....?!

Question: I've been having chest pains. I'm pretty sure its from the stress. I feel fine other wise, just a dull pain from here and there. when it comes, it only last about 30mins. and it NOT a killing pain.
Should i be considered? It just started when i became stressed out.
Also, with becoming stressed, i've got depressed....

Chest pain can have many causes ranging from anxiety attacks to acid reflux to heart attack. I have experienced chronic chest pain which was due to acid reflux disease and a hiatal hernia (the top of my stomach pushed up into my esophagus so that there was nothing to stop the acid from coming up). One would think that acid would just cause burning but I felt crushing chest pain instead. It is time to go to your doctor so she/he can determine all possible causes and treat you accordingly.

see your doctor.

You might just want to talk to your doctor. TYPO : considered should be concerned.

stress can cause many bad experiences to the body. The human body is a confusing organism it would be the safest thing to do is to see your doctor.

Try scents like lillacs or vanilla ,take hot bathes, if this doesn't help I hope something else does.

maybe see a doc about a possible rx for an antidepressant that also helps with anxiety...like zoloft. or maybe even just an anti-anxiety med, like xanax or ativan. just to help you get a handle on the stress and cope a bit better.

You may want to discuss this with your doctor. But, I had the same problem about two years and it ended up being panic attacks. I had chest pain and heart palpitations. I actually felt like I was dying. Doc helped me out by giving me a low dose of xanax to just take when I started having isues. It definitely helped and now I have no problems.

Good luck and feel better!

It's anxiety, maybe a panic attack. Breathe deep and slow...it will pass and it won't hurt you.

You might have a low level of calcium. Be sure to have calcium tablets around and vitamin D. Also, don't drink too much coffee.

For the rest, breathe in and out slowly. Smile! :)

Congrats for the upcoming event!
