If the blood is bright red then it could be hemroids or blood from tears from straining too hard. this is not fatal but u might want to see ure doc. Also it could be a sign of colon cancer. If the blood is darker red, ie looks like dry blood, then there may be something bleeding in ure upper GI tract. Whenever u find blood in your stools it is best to see a doctor just to be safe! Good luck!

Blood in the stools can be caused by lots of things such as piles caused through constipation and straining when you are passing a stool. or something more sinister, Go to your doc now.

Hemorrhoids (a form of a thing called a varicose vein) can cause bleeding to occur, also a condition called endometriosis if it's on the bowel and also cancer of the colon.

I would recommend calling your doctor now (meaning in the next few days) to see what they recommend as to how soon you should go in.

Its sounds as though you should go to your doctor and rule out all causes, especially if your worried, Theres no time like the present!

I think yu should go and see a doctor
