I am always hungry?!


Question: Lately, I have been noticing that I am always hungry. I eat lunch/dinner and I would get hungry within 1 hr. I am 22 yrs old and I am in a good shape. Could this be a sign of diabetes ( no one in my family has diabetes) ?

This usually happens to me a few days before my period comes. It's like I have a bottomless appetite. haha Maybe you're experiencing the same thing?

Make sure you are getting enough protein. Sometimes if you're not your body will want more food. Don't eat too many simple carbs and don't drink your calories. Lots of water may trick your body into thinking it's eating even if it isn't.
If this persists, please contact a doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Ummm.... Why diabetes? It could be worms. Well, not really worms but the "fancy" worms that stick to your stomach walls and absorb the calories.... I watched it on Oprah the other day ;)) It's totally disgusting but maybe you should cross out the possibility by checking in with your doctor?

No highly unluckly that it is diabetes... symptoms of diabetes include:

Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Unusual weight loss or gain
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision

So in a woman in good shape shouldnt be getting this (but also it has been known to happen)

okay first ,you have to eat a hearty breakfast ....not a big one theres a difference. hearty will tie you over ,big only makes you full temporary. second eat a small lunch and in a hr if your hungry eat a snack.third dinner should also be a hearty meal even if its a big one.lastley try and eat at the table and not in front of a tv .it will help a great deal
Ps. studies show we are now not suppose to be eating 3 meals a day ,but 6 small meals instead !~now thats food for thought.
