Help what to do ?!?!?!?!

Question: so my dad has done some rather unspeakably bad things to me in the part and well very recently i came to understand why he did these things and who he is and who i am and basically kinda sorta not really but partial care about him and well
tommorrow i have an appt with a forensic pyschologist to interview me about the things hes done
and i dunno should i tell the truth or clam up?
and ive also never told anyone what happened and i dont think ive really dealt with the event...so should i tell them what happened even though its going to be so hard or be quiet?
help!

i think you should tell...i've gone through a similar experience and im getting help for it now too...i wanted to stay quiet and act like i was fine but i spilled...and though it was hard at the time, i felt so good afterwards! plus, you don't want it all to build up and then explode out of you and have everyone know...trust me, i know how that works :( ...anyways good luck, and i'm sure once they go over the confidentiality you will feel alot better about it! just don't stress over it, say whats on your mind, you will feel so good after!

I would tell the truth.

It will help you immensely if you tell what happened. Always remember: IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT! for what happened. Once you tell everything then you can then get the proper help and begin the healing process. Don't keep it inside any longer. Good luck brave one.

You need to tell.
It happened to my daughter and she didn't tell for a long time and she had a lot of mental health issues. Then her biological male parent did it to other girls. There is a BIG chance yours will too.
Remember it is not your fault and get some therapy to help you deal with the issues.

Tell them what happened. They're there to help.

If you care about him even with what he has done it is the best thing you can do. He needs to take account of what he's done and get some help.

Just remember that they care and they are there to help you.
