No real period, spotting for a week, not pregnant?!

Question: my period was due jan 5-6 i spotted around the 7th for 2 days then on the 17 i started spotting again and it lasted 7 days....im not pregnant i took multiple tests and had a blood test done, the doctor has no clue why this would happen....any ideas??

if you are very active, and have a low fat/proteen intake your period can take a holiday (mine did for the longest time)but if the doctor has done some blood work and has not said anything about that then, maybe you are stressing over someting and that is manafesting as the weak periods. school, work, bills, life, etc. too much stress shuts down "non essential" areas, and, from time to time, the cycle is one of those non essentials.
