First Period?!
Question: Ok, I just had my first period today. There is hardly any blood, a really light flow, so, I was wondering, will I have light periods next time, or will they get heavier? Thanks!

...congradulations...your first period is a big thing and the start to many other changes in the next few months & years...
...most times the first period is pretty much as you described...a light flow & not lasting a real long time...
...the first thing you should do is mark a secret calendar of the first day your first period started...then see how long it is between this period & the others that will follow...you might be a little erratic at first but you should know how your body works...and now your body needs time to adjust to its changes...the average time between is 28 days but everyone is different...
...check the site below to see the changes you will go thru & differences between yourself & other girls...it's a help...
...you probably will have light periods at first for a while...then the flow will usually become heavier & last a little longer as you get older...
...maybe before your next period have a pad stashed away in a plastic pouch in you school locker or in your purse so you are secure if it starts when you are away from home...
it all depends. sometimes you get them light, sometimes you get them heavy.
No it will get Heavier. But since this is your First period your body still has to get adjusted to even having periods
they get heavier after a while but like year or no it wont be as bad for ur next few period

Well, im sure you will have a heavy flow. Because they are not always light, but then again they are not always heavy.
Make sure you bring pads to school!

depens, it might , look tomarrow, if it gets heavier like min it will be like that(the second day) good luck with your period, but if i were you i would try a tampon just find tour size (i used one my first day and I'm fine)

....i havent started.....
it might get heavier like on the 3rd to 4th day. on the 1st, 2nd day the flow might be light and on the 5th day its light b/c its almost over, so it might get heavier.
