I refused to take HRT as my mom died of breast cancer, I got through it with black Coohosh from the health stores and it was great for me, if your having problems with hot flushes, which unfortunately carry on long after your post menopausal you can now get something called Clonidine from your GP, its what they use for migraines but its been found to open up blood vessels in menopausal women and prevent hot flushes, I've been taking it since November last year and have to say its like a miracle for me, talk to your health stores helper and they will help you find something suitable to you, good luck.

My local GP surgery offers acupuncture for the menopause - many women have found it good, helps with hot sweats, disturbed sleep and energy levels. It takes a while to kick in but once it does is very good.

It is a very normal phenomenon at certain age. In case u r worried, u should contact gynec doctor. In case u insist for herbal medicine, u should contact some Ayurveda doctor.
