Ok, I'm having some serious problems......can I get some REAL help?!
Question: My girlfriend got a little overzealous with a bottle brush on my vagina and now it's REALLY swelled up and irritated. Do you think if I just soaked in the tub I'd be ok or should I go to the emergency room?

was it a steel wool industrial scrub brush?
Ouch! There have got to be better things to put in there! Maybe try the soak and if it doesn't help and you're really in bad shape then go to the ER.
um..inside or outside. Not being a smart..either.
If it's outside you should be ok. If it's inside..you've very likely torn, at least severly irritated the lining.
My advice is..get it looked at by a Doc.
You should probably see a doctor just to be sure... especially if she used it on the inside. If you soaked it might be okay but you won't be able to see what kind of scarring or damage was done unless checked by a doctor or nurse. For future reference, never do anything you wouldn't want to have to explain to a paramedic.
Try some over the counter hydrocortisone ointment, but only on the outside, don't use it in the vagina, don't use one with antibiotic in it...i.e. neosporin. If it's not helping, go see your Dr., and coat with Vaseline until you can get in, I don't think going to the ER will help much, you'll sit for hours and hours and end up with an enormous hospital bill. Save your $, see you Dr.
