i would have to say that it is a new pregnancy, just very early. or maybe everything hasn't completely came out. I had a miscarriage on dec 27 and i was almost 7 weeks long and my hcg level went back to 0 about a week after. i would be a little concerned being that you were only 4 weeks. your hcg should be down by now. im gonna say new pregnancy. let us know im really curious

That is too bad that you can not get the information you want and need from your doctor. What a horrible feeling. Usually this late after a miscarriage the hcg is back to normal. If it is at 47 you could be in the very early stages of pregnancy ... I would take an EPT pregnancy test.

Hope this helps,

C

47 could well be residual from the M/C especially if you didn't have a D&C, but it could also be a new pregnancy.

Perhaps have another test done. If your levels have gone up that YAY!!! if they're around the same level or less than it's a fresh start YAY!!!
