Been there, done that - every month. The doctor tells me my problem is normal and signs of menopause, I wish the sh'it would hurry up and come and go, this is disgusting and at this age, you would think I would have bleed to death by now (seriously) :-). If there is no pain, that is what the doctor told me, then there is no problem but if it continues to cause you concern, see your doctor. I am constantly being told, don't worry it is no more than a couple of tablespoons of blood, yeah thats the blood, what about the clots - see Eve ate that damn apple and we continue to pay for it. yeah, I've had it black before, its just normal...it can always vary from month to month, someone told me that black means its old blood? Dont know what that means, maybe left over from last time? but dont worry, it doesnt always have to be red..

No need to panic, it could just be not enough water. too many sports drinks and cola can dehydrate you casing you to have more clots. try increasing your intake of water and talk to your doctor about it. Doctors can be very helpful in this area.
Yeah, ever since I had an IUD, sometimes I'll get my cycle out of no where, and I'll only have it for one day and it will be dark and syrupy like (sorry, a little explicit). Anyways, your body changes physiologically throughout life at all ages, and if your on any type of birth control, that may be the culprit. I had some years where I had light periods, and others that were just like how you're describing for five days...you're fine.
U might wanna look down there to make sure you have the right tool...i know people who claimed to have been PMSing and all and come to find out they were carrying a different tool down there. Yeah its funny as hell...weird and all...but they do exist...i know but u just never know nowadays...

You could be having a miscarriage, you should go see your doctor. some women miscarriage in the early days-weeks of pregnancy and just experience a heavy clotty period and never realise.
It's completely normal, I used to get periods like that all the time, and so did my friend. The dark color just means that it's been exposed to air. The clots are just part of the tissue that makes the uterus soft for an egg should it become fertilized and implanted.

I'm thinking Fibroids...That can be worrisome. Ask your doctor next time you go in, or give them a call.
There is no normal color for your periods.
Did you skip a month? sometimes you have heavy ones when you skip.
Normal. Maybe diet related. When I changed my diet to raw vegan, I never had another problem with menstruation again.
