Yes. Cramps are a sign! Good luck and I hope this helps. Also look for discharge, spotting, bloated feeling, and things like that. These are also signs! :)

age does not matter, yes it could your period.
It could be that you're going to start your period soon, or it could be that you have indigestion! The signs are different in every girl and woman, so there's really no way to tell for you until you actually start your period.
I'm answering even though I don't know if you are starting your period or not. No one, perhaps not even the doctor, can tell you if you are about to start. That's the fun thing with periods, you never know when they're gonna turn on until your cycle get regular. You've got some time before that happens. I would suggest you carry an emergency kit of period necessities with you at all times. It's gonna come when your body is ready. No sooner.
