No one one here can tell if you're ovulating or not. I'd bet that you are unless you're on the pill. You're body knows what it's doing. It seems that most of the women on here look for things that are normal or not. That by itself is normal, comparing one another. However, many end up wondering if what's going on with their body is right or not. More often than not, they are completely normal. I would bet you are ovulating. Usually the only thing that stops it is the pill. That's part of the reason it's not, in my opinion, good for anyone.

Unless you're on hormonal birth control, technically, you can't have a period without ovulating. You can bleed without ovulating, but it's not technically a menstrual period unless you've ovulated first. The menstrual cycle starts with bleeding, followed by ovulation, then bleeding again.

You can, however, ovulate without having a period. This is quite common in women who are breastfeeding.
