Does this happen to every teenaged girl! BODY PROBLEMS! HELPPP! =(?!


Question: Ok so.. im 13. asian, around 5'3ish.

Im going on into highschool pretty soon. And i have pretty much EVERYTHING going wrong with my body. I dont feel confident around anyone at all.

Be prepared for this:

1.I have mild acne on my face and back
2. stretch marks on my hips and thighs
3. i have hair on my stomach, around my breasts and on my back
4. im slightly over weight
5. my ears stick out
6.and my legs are bigg


I have no idea why all of this is happening to me. None of this went wrong with my mom or my grandma's or any of the females in my family. Is it just me?

1. acne is normal, its hormonal. theres lots of treatments out there for it, and if you are really concerned, go see a dermatologist. they would be able to recommend something for you.
2. stretch marks are unfortunately a normal thing, growth spurts can cause them, so can gaining/losing weight rapidly
3. some women have hair on their belly's and breasts. I have hair on my belly, it was thicker and courser when i was a teen but as i got older it started getting finer. dont shave it, it will make it come in thicker and more "manly" it has a lot to do with hormones and since your a teen, your hormones are crazy right now. give em time to settle down.
4. don't go diet crazy. just moderate what you eat, try to incorporate more veggies and fruits, and less fast foods/frozen dinners etc. exercise a few times a week and get adequate rest. drink plenty of water. you will be amazed at what those few things can do to help you lose a few pounds.
5. my ears stick out, its usually genetic. unfortunately theres not much you can do there. I used to only wear my hair down. t hen i finally figured that my ears are my ears and who cares what others think....it makes me unique.
6. im not sure what you mean here, whether they are very muscular or long or fat or whatever...but you are at an awkward time in your life. give your body a chance to fill in. thigns will even out here in a little bit. You're just a normal teen.

I think that you do not have a good diet.
You can get acne from eating to much junk food, but every teenager gets it anyway. That could also be a reason for you being overweight, when you are overweight you can accumulate stretch marks and big legs. So i would cut down on sweets and junk foods, eat more fruits and veggies, drink water. But you should be fine. NOTHING is seriously wrong with you, you are a normal teenager.!!! HOPE I HELPED

Nothing is wrong! Most of those things are normal for teenagers and 13 year old girls are often very insecure about their bodies. Don't Worry!

1. the acne is normal for teenage girls. if it's not genetic (since you say your female relatives didnt have this) then it might be your diet. check to see that your diet doesnt consist of overly fatty foods.
2. stretch marks are normal too. almost every woman will have them, and it just shows that you're growing.
3. if the hair on your stomach, around your breasts, and back, are very very fine, then there's nothing to worry about. you probably have dark blackish hair so it's going to show on pale skin. if you want you can wax it off, but it's normal.
4. if you're not overly overweight (like more than 10 + lbs) then you shouldn't try going on a diet. you're still 13; you're still growing. your body needs nutrition
5. your ears are your ears. i can't say there's anything you can do about them. if it makes you feel better, superstition has it that people with big ears have long lives
6. this is probably psychological. heck, i think my legs are big too, but my bf says they're not. let them be; remember, you're still going to grow.

you are perfectly fine im 12 and i also have hair on my stomach im 5-1 and i weigh aroun 145 or so i also have small strethc marks from when i was weighing more i wayed like 170 yeah but now i just control my self better you are fine ur growing it just puperty and your going to be ok my kegs are also big but that becasue ur body is growing try doing some exersise for those parts of your body like runnning or walking more it not just u arpart form that i get headaches and stomach and neck aches all the time it puperty but nothing is wrong with u

everythng is preety normal except for hair arond your nipples and back thats weird. you should probly get that checked because that could be a sign of cancer, infertility or etc.

All the same things happened to me except I didn't get acne on my back just my face. There's nothing wrong with you.

If you stop focusing on them then you won't notice and you won't feel so bad about things. I used to focus on this like, my knees were too big or I have hair on my knuckles. Nobody else really notices.
1. Acne is common especially in teens. Hormones make you oily. Wash your face with face soap. Drink lots of water and get exercise to flush your pores. Wash your back when you shower.
2. Heaps of women get stretch marks and not just from being pregnant. You can get it from gaining weight or just from having your boobs or hips grow all of a sudden during puberty. Not much you can do. Try some vitamin e cream on your skin. Stretch marks will fade with time.
3. Hair on stomach, boobs, back - all pretty common. Bleach them or wax them if you like. Shaving makes them look thicker and darker so I'd avoid that.
4. Eat less kilojoules, eat smaller meals, exercise at least 30 mins each day, drink lots of water.
5. Hmm, not much you can do there. Maybe ask a hairdresser about hairstyles to make them look smaller or draw the attention away.
6. Big as in fat or muscle or long?

Everybody is different when they grow up. You have different genes to your mother and grandmother.

Remember the less you stress about it the less you'll notice.

Acne will clear up over time- make sure you keep your face clean, and don't use lots of makeup that will clog your pores.

Stretch marks are just there. no one likes them, but LOTS of people own them.

You can use something like Nair or at home waxing strips for the hair on your stomach, nipples and back- we all have at least 1 or 2, if not more problem areas... there are ALL kinds of products at your local store for these things!

Get into a good workout program... join a team at school (track, cross-country, tennis)... surround yourself with only healthy foods... if junk food is laying around, I eat it... thats why i make sure there is no junk food in sight! Switching from soda to water alone will get you at least a 7lb weight loss!

For the ear situation...Wear your hair down more often... if you need to wear it up, dont pull your hair back behind your ears, pull it straight back over your ears... a low ponytail may look better on you... dont pull it back "slick" either... let it hang a little loose...

And, for the big legs, just run... (sometimes, though, certain people are just meant to have big legs)- exercise and keep yourself healthy... don't worry about the thin, perfect hair, perfect body. worry about YOU...
