I didn't watch it. I didn't go to the site. From your question I know what you're asking, and the answer is that somewhere inside of them they don't feel they deserve any better. They think the a-hole is the best they'll get. It's a self-esteem issue OR it's a fear issue. Fear of the guy and retaliation again her or her family/children, etc.
Maybe it's because they are scared of leaving the guy because if they do they might get badly hurt.
its becuase women feel intimated by them.. some times its hard to leave when there is domestic volience involved.. its very hard to get out sometimes without having the resources on hand, they have no choice but to stay around until "he" or "she" leaves the house and escape..
