If you had a C_SECTION...?!

Question: when did you stop feeling pain or
when did you stop haveing any sensation at all?

i had a c section almost 18 months ago
my scar is not visible to the naked eye but i can sometimes feel a little pinch or pull on the surface of it and the area still has that weird numb-y sensitivity- like my daughter can crawl all over me( her daddy too) but the pressure of so much as her little hand pressing there(even not so hard at all) still hurts- not shooting pain
but a mild pain that makes me scared of what the continued pressure would feel like enough to move her right away-

maybe it is fear of the original pain idk

but say- i held pee for a long time., when i go to take an extended pee- as my bladder empties i can feel that area tighten and kind of cramp up a little but it is a very mild but noticeable version of those after c section pees

anyone : please share your experience
thanx

I had a Cesarean birth 22 months ago. It's normal to experience some numbness and tingling at the incision site, especially when it's touched. If you're not feeling shooting or stabbing pains, or pain when it's not being touched at all, then you're probably okay, but it wouldn't hurt to mention it to your doctor next time you go, just in case.

My incision site is always a little numb. My experiences might be different since I'm 6 months pregnant right now, but I also notice a slight crampy feeling when my bladder gets full. The best thing to do in that case is empty your bladder frequently. I also noticed (and this was before I was pregnant, too), that when I wear pants that hit right at the incision site, it hurts, especially if they're too tight.

C-sections are major abdominal surgery, so there's likely to be some after effects. What you're describing sounds pretty normal, but like I said, if it worries you, let your doctor know. It never hurts to be on the safe side.

I have had 3 c-sections and the scar area can remain tender for sometime afterward. remember you have had muscle, tissue and fat cut through and so will take some time to heal. if you are still concerned, maybe you should see your doctor and ask if what you are feeling is normal.
