There a few possibilities. First, a yeast infection. The discharge will be white and sticky like cottage cheese. You can get over the counter Monistat or other brands. My doctor told me it is better to get the ones that you use for several days instead of the one day kind. Try that. Also, if you use bar soap to wash yourself, throw it away. It will harbor the bacteria from the infection. Switch to shower gel. If you still have the problem, then go see a doctor. I also find that using Vagisil cream really helps for the itching. I, sometimes find that I get sensitive from some shower gels which will cause that area to inflame and itch. The best to use is Summers Eve feminine wash. While it might be a little more pricey than most shower gels, it doesn't irritate that area. Also, once a month you will get a slimey discharge.     It may not be infected if your really worried you could go to a Gyn.
    Have your mom make an appointment for you. It could be a yeast infection and yoU can get them at your age.
    If you use tampons make sure you have removed your last one.
    sounds like trichomas infection that has a fishy smell.You need antibotics most likely
    if it's clear, you might be ovulating, but it's not supposed to smell like that. If it itches, then you might have a yeast infection. either way you should probably get it checked out by a doctor or get one of those new tests that figure out if you have an infection or not. those are sold at a drugstore.
    Sounds like vaginitis (candida albicans) also known as yeast infection. If you never have had one before, go to your doctor to confirm the diagnosis. If it recurs (which happens to about 70% of American women according to one study), there are OTC products you can use. But you want a doctor to check it out, to make sure it is not something else (STD, etc).

    To prevent, once your infection is over, is to keep clean and dry down there and eat foods that help keep the yeast that is naturally in our intestines under control. The acidophilous in plain (no fruit, no sugar added) yogurt can help.
