Sometimes it can... before I was taking the pill mine would end up being a few days late. I think that comes along with being paranoid about getting pregnant. If you are worried that you are pregnant, your body can start to develop pregnancy symptoms and a late period would be one of those. Just relax.

2. If you did not use protection (condom or birth control) you could be pregnant.
No it should not. It can get you pregnant if you were not properly protected, but otherwise, your period should be unaffected. Have you changed your diet recently, changed sleep patterns or had a lot of stress or exercise? These things are much more likely to throw off your period.
