Question about Yaz?!
Question: I don't want to use this for birth control, but for mensutral cramps, and I sometimes get severe PMS !
I have always been scared to use it because I am afraid of gaining weight or it being bad for my body.. since it does mess with your hormones..
Could someone give me some information on this pill and if you have used it how does it work ? Also how often do you get periods with Yaz ?

I have an email warning about some of those birth control methods; people have died. They are in the process of trying to have those particular ones recalled. I suggest doing nothing with those kind of pills til they figure out what's going on.
Check with the internet at google.com to see if you find any info. on it but I sure wouldn't try any of that stuff right now.

I took this one (and others) I tried the Nuva ring (YUCK) and Yaz and LoEstrin. for the same reason - Bad cramping.
I had constant breakthrough bleeding on all three of them. (three weeks out of the month) Did not stop & have a regular period again until I was off the pill. When I was younger, I had good luck with them though, it all depends on your body and how it adjusts to them.
For cramps, you can try evening primrose oil & B vitimins instead - also watch the caffine and try to get enough exercise as well - all these things help with cramps.
Have you tried Depo? My girlfriend uses that and it does not seem to bother her.
