dont be scared every woman ovulates in the middle of her menstral cycle and some of those woman bleed a little bit when that happens you will be fine

try talk ing to you mom or a woman you trust like your grandma , aunt or even a teacher they should be able to fill you in on everything you should know...
dont be scared

your mom is probably right, sometimes old blood can sit in the vagina and get flushed out with regular discharge...i would keep an eye on it and if it doesn't go away or your fever comes back check with your doctor to be sure..

Some times when your younger your periods aren't every regular..so you might just be getting your period again. But if I were you i would call the doctor and ask just to make sure. although your mom is probably right about its just old blood..
good luck!!!
