Answers: What is it like to have an abortion? What do you do at the clinic and how is it?

when you have a abortion you can wither take a 24 hour pill that will kill your baby with in a day or you can go to a clinic when you go to the clinic you will be put to sleep and the baby will be sucked out of you with some kind of tube.

It is like the worst thing, even though it is pain free more or less
the loss will stay with you the rest of your life.
at the clinic you sign in, take you to a room, sometimes with alot of other women, start an iv , for the medications.
and take you in one by one.
please think long and hard about this decision

Hi,

I have two abortions I'd like to tell you about.
The first one was when i was 15 years old. I didn't find out until I was gone past two months, and in England you can have a normal abortion up to 13 weeks pregnant, I just made this in time. I went into hospital and they put this thing inside your vagina to make you start having labour, this really hurt, when I couldn't stand anymore, they took me into a theatre room and they put something into the back of my hand which made me go asleep. The next thing I can remember was waking up and being sick, but it was all over with.

The second time was alot better as I found out I was pregnant alot sooner than before, i think i was about two weeks pregnant. For this one, i went to a clininc and they gave me a tablet. This made me have stomache cramps, a bit like period pains, they were bearable anyway. About three hours later, all the lining of my womb came out, it was like a massive bleed with big lumps in it.

The second time was alot less traumatic and less painful than the first time.

I wish you all the best and if you are pregnant and want an abortion, the quicker you do something about it the better.

If you leave it too late and you get past the 13 week stage, it really is not nice at all. You're basically brought into labour and made to give birth to the baby. Although this has not happened to me, I can imagine it being horrendous and really traumatic.

I wish you all the best.
