I can't believe the people who are COMPLETELY against abortion and just ASSUMING what may have happened and the cirumstances surrounding the decision!

It may depend on if you take the pill to induce a miscarriage or actually have the embryo surgically removed. But I do not know...

Your best bet would to be to talk it over with your gyno. He/she will know and be able to help you through it all. :)

ooooooooooooo aaaaaaaaaaa

6 mo

why are you gona have an abortion dont me like that. do you really know what they do to your baby.

Ive heard it can be placed in after the procedure, depending on which one you get, if you are taking the pill or if its surgical abortion. You should talk it over with the doctor to see if its right for you and other options. You would have to let them know anyway so they can place it for you.

I think you should get IUD insert after 6 weeks till then you can use oral pills....

Abortions are bad. You are killing a baby. You made the choice to have sex and get pregnant, now you are stuck with the outcome. SHOULDA BEEN MORE CAREFUL.
And good choice getting the IUD, because who knows how many babies you would kill until you finally got smart and used a condom.

You should ask your doctor or the clinic that performed your procedure. The clinic probably insert IUD's also.

Good Luck.

Don't have an abortion, just have the baby and if you still don't want it give it up for adoption. Just don't have an abortion because you are killing a living thing. Plus most people regret having an abortion.

You can get it right after you have it done.
It is best because your cervix is already open and that helps aid in the insertion of the IUD.
Also, it will be done with the guidance of the ultrasound machine - which will help insure that you won't get any uterine perforation - which can rarely happen when inserted 'blindly.'

Often, when you get an IUD inserted, just in general, they have you come in while on your period - because your cervix is slightly open at that time. So after an abortion makes it much easier.

Plus, you will have pain pills to help keep the cramping at bay*

Good luck.
