Answers: My mom keeps using the word "Ovulation" cuz i got my perios last week. What does "Ovulation mean?

It usually occurs mid menstrual cycle meaning about 2 weeks after your period. It's the release of the egg into the fallopian tube. (Only one of the ovaries releases an egg at a time as a general rule, not the case in fraternal twins). The egg travels down the fallopian tube and about two weeks later it is excreted as your period.

if i'm not mistaken, it means an egg is released from the ovary?

an egg is passed into your ovary...i think that is what it is...

Ovulation is the process during your menstral cycle that your body releases an egg.
Normally ovulation occurs on or about day 14 depending on your leutal phase.
when you ovulate you are usually fertile for about 3 days.

Ovulation is when an Ovary releases an egg into your follopian tube. It usually occurs around the 14th day of your cycle, but it could happen at any time through your cycle, and you probably won't even know it. And you are considered fertile or the egg is only good for 24 hours not 3 days.
