It usually takes 12-18 months to develop a regular cycle. There is nothing wrong with you.

Hormones are affected by everything, stress, energy, they all are fed by eachother.

Your body will work itself out, why the hurry to have a regular one anyway? Its just a scheduled pain in the ***.

Since it just started its irregular.

Could be numerous reasons. Irregularity is common in teens and sometimes they miss months after their period starts. There are some conditions that can cause this though so you can go for a check up with a doctor if you want, they usually only think it's an issue if it's over 6 months though. And yeah diet and exercise changes (usually extreme ones) and stress can change it too.

Dont worry.. they're just sorting themselves out. I got my 1st one in May, then in June, then in July, August, October, December, January.. but it has waaaaay different dates different. Dont worry about it.

first question, is that your first 2 years of menstruating, because if it is, irregular periods are normal because your body is still (if we put it in easy terms) adjusting and getting used to it. if its not then, yes, stress is a common cause, but it is not just the cause. it can also be that you are experiencing hormonal imbalance. it can also be diet (crash dieting, anorexia/disorders). if you are not pregnant, in menopause (which i doubt), in the first 2 years of mentruating, experiencing any stresses (identity crisis, peer pressure), or drastic changes in diet, then i suggest that you see a doctor (an ob-gyne to be specific). if the cause is hormonal imbalances then you should be treated (its not that serious, Contaceptive pills with be given; most common treatment) as early as possible. it will give you problems in concieving a child.
