My girlfriend is not feeling good?!

Question: Okay, well I'm a guy and I feel really sorry for my girlfriend. She called me at my parents house yesterday and told me to come over to her house. I said okay and I asked her if everything was okay, but she didn't answer, so I figured something was wrong. Anyways, when I got to her house, she let me in and she told me she was on her period and that she was suffering from very bad cramps. I asked her if she had taken Tylenol or a pain reliever and she said she did, but the pain was still unbearable. I could see her eyes were teary from the pain, so I held her in my arms for a while and sat with her on the couch. She looked a little better once I did that, and fell asleep in my arms. My question is, can I do anything for her?? Is there any recommendations to help the pain? I felt bad leaving her today, and I know she wants me there right now, but I can't be there. It makes me understand and give sympathy to women who have to go through this.

Anyways, how can I help?

Thanks

Good for you for being caring and sympathetic and wanting to help! You are doing the best thing you can for her...be there when you can, give her TLC and let her know you're there for her. Also asking her if anything you can do is a good thing...in case there is something special she wants to drink, etc. Some women suffer terribly during their time of the month and some women do so because of medical problems like endometriosis. So, if this is her norm or continues, urge her to talk to her doctor about it.

Again, kudos for being a great boyfriend!

Just by caring and wanting to help does make people feel better. Gentle back rubs, getting her a hot water bottle, or making her a cup of red raspberry leaf tea are all things that you can do to help her.

go see a doc it should not be that bad she could have an eptopic pregnancy wich is very bad good luck

Excersizing is a good way to get rid of cramps for a lot of girls.
And Midol also helps, and eating banana's helps get rid of cramps. She is lucky to have a boyfriend like you.

she does not have cancer. cramps suck. and sometimes are horrible and dont go away even with medicine. but a hot bath will help. they go away eventually. just be with her.

Awww, thats so sweet that you care about your girlfriend so much!
The most you can do is just be there for her, sometimes it can get really painful. You could try getting her a hot bottle or one of those hot/cold packs and making it hot, and she can put that on her lower abdomen along with a painkiller.
Other than that there isn't very much else to do

i get that same unbearable pain and it doesnt completly go away, but a few ways to somewhat ease the pain: take it easy (stop worrying about things that stress you out, i dont know, but it makes me feel a bit better), taking a warm bath, take some pain reliever, and heating pads feel good
and of course love and care from the people around always feels good. and sleep a lot

First of all she is a very lucky girl to have a guy like you..most guys dont even wanna hear about that...but ne who to ur question try and take her mind of it..usually if you dont think about something it doesnt hurt as much...my friend used to get cramps like that so bad sometimes she wouldnt be able to walk and her mom would have to take her to the hospital but then she started excersizing a lot and it doesnt even bother her ne more.

if you're telling the truth, you're one of the best boyfriends ever. very rare. tell her to take midol, drink some hot tea, use a heating pad on her stomach, and get some sleep. maybe take her some chocolate - i always love chocolate.

People, dont give this guy a fright.
Anyway. If you say your girlfriend is having her period and bad stomach pain/cramps, then she's having dysmenorrhea. Almost all girls experiences this every time they have their period but, it can range from no pain to severe pain. but if she is having this before her period then its PMS. (the before and after matters so i just cleared it up)
anyway, i dont want to make it too long, instead, i have a found a very infomative website on menstrual problems: http://www.epigee.org/menstruation/dysme...
I put it in the dysmenorrhea section so its direct. but almost everything is there including PMS. if you have any difficulties, just send me an e-mail.

maybe her stomach has cancer?
