An embarrasing question about first-time sex?!

Question: Last night, my boyfriend and I [both being virgins] tried to have sex for the first time, only it didn't really work out as it planned. We took our time, and we really did our best at preparing ourselves, but it was pretty painful for me, and almost instantly after we started he told me the condom was beginning to slip a little and he couldn't stand hurting me, so we stopped. I know the condom fit him properly, and besides the pain, I think I was in pretty good shape. We both really feel humiliated that we didn't go through with it though, and he keeps apologizing like it's his fault things happened the way they did.

My question is, has this happened to anyone else?

It's just not the way I imagined my first time to be, and I know he didn't picture it that way either. I just hate for him to feel that way. I keep telling myself we can't be the only ones this has happened too, and that it will work next time, but I'm not so sure that's the truth...

Don't worry about it. The first time is painful for many women. It will get better quickly. I can imagine that it would be hard for him to enjoy himself knowing that every movement was causing you pain so it is normal (and considerate) that he stopped. Try again, and again. It will soon be pleasurable for both of you. Try not to get hung up on the romantic notion of how it should have been. First times are not often perfect.

everything is normal dont give up

having your first time with a guy whos a virgin can be tricky cus he is gona not last that long and your very tight. the trick is lots and lots of lube. first tell him to use fingers 1 then 2 then 3 and when your comfortable with 3 and its not that painfull youll be ready to have sex. unels hes super huge. so lube and taking it really slow and youll have a good experience. i heard about this many time on talk sex with sue.

Save the sex for when you're married!

practice make perfection

it sounds normal when you ready for next time start with for play it will make it wet down there and it should go in a little bit easier also go and get a bottle of ky or some lube of your choice they can be found where you get the condoms. It sounds like you got a really sweet guy talk to him and tell him how you feel a good relationship needs too have the open ness and communication. its no ones fault. Its like riding your bike if you fall get up and try it again when your comfortable

we always want the first time to be perfect. but it never really is. like you said, it hurts like crazy & you imagined everything would go as planned. just keep trying, it gets better.

& btw it's normal. first time hurts the most. :)
