Weird period? What can I do?!

Question: I am having a weird period this month. Usually I have really heavy bleeding on the second or third day with horrible cramps, and then no pain the rest of the time. This month, I still had bad cramps on the second day, but it's now the fourth day and I'm still having cramps, and the bleeding is lighter than usual. Should I be concerned about this? Is there anything I can do besides taking advil to make the cramps go away? I don't want to be on advil for days.

I am a herbal remedy fan?!??!?or sot to speak... when i'm having my period [which differs from one to another], i usually take dry mint in boiled water, that really soothes the pain.

as for the cramps, i think it's a matter of hormones [or mainly a psychological matter], so just have a rest and take the doubts out your mind.

Apparently periods can last anything from 2 to 7 days and i guess the cramps just come with it unfortunately.

I find sleeping with a hot water bottle at night helps with the pain.
