They check all pregnant women for this. I was fortunately negative. I do know that you will need to receive iv antibiotics while you are in labor to prevent passing this on to your baby. That can be a very serious problem. However, most babies do fine as long as the mom got the antibiotics at the appropriate time. You will need to go to the hospital as soon as labor starts to ensure you don't miss the window of opportunity. Try not to worry too much. A lot of women go through the exact same thing. I was positive with my third child. Don't be worried. You and your baby will receive antibiotics to make sure that it isn't passed to your baby.
Its nothing bad its not sexually transmitted. Is this your first preg? I had this but when you go to deliver they are going to put med in you iv.the baby will be fine and so will you. Dont worry yourself. I have a beautiful baby boy.
