Could this be Menopause or perimenopause?!
Question: Im 26 years old and i have been having this incredibly HOT sensation starting around my chest/neck area and it just works its way up! Ive also been getting dizzy a lot which is rare for me. My last period was abnormally heavy. I went through a super absorbancy tampon in an hour to no more than 2 hours! At night i take forever to get to sleep and then i end up waking up off and on all night. ITS CRAZY and i will just be sweating like crazy. And no i am not imagining this either! I would be drenched in sweat. Can a 26 year old go through menopause or have the symptoms of menopause? If not, WTF is this? Its annoying as hell!
SERIOUS people only please. And people who know something about the subject. My mom went through menopause early...she had REALLY heavy periods and hot flashes and then ended up having to have a hysterectomy! I know if your mom went through it you have a good chance to go through early as well.

Not all hot flashes and symptoms of menopause are caused by it. Hormones ! they are the bain of us women. You might just be having hormonal fluctuations. I suggest you see your GYN as soon as you can. Its true, if your mom went early, you may as well. BUT, with today's modern medicine, we can avoid the drastic hysterectomies. Besides, you will still have meno. symptoms even with the surgery.
