It's a great idea to talk to the nurse about the lump. If your smear appointment is later than this week then make a special appointment with the nurse just for the lump. You should always get anything like this checked out as soon as you notice it so I think you have waited more than long enough. The nurse will send you in to see the Doctor if she thinks it's necessary. That's the good thing about nurse appointments, they can get you right to the Doctor if you need one but will deal with anything that doesn't need the doctor by themselves.
Lumps are never a waste of Doctor's time, they are there to deal with things like that. See your practice nurse as soon as you can and if she is fully booked then ask for a Doctors appointment instead. It's not like you have a cold that will go away by itself, you have given this lump too much time to go away already.

what you talking about? wasting time?? thats what they are there for, and you can make a appointment at any GP's to see the nurse insted of the doctor.

Thats what doctors are there for!!! but go for your smear and ask about it when your there! never worry about wasting a doctors time with things like that - ppl who waste there time are people who go with coughs and colds.

If you're worried about this blob bud then just make an appt. & get it seen, take care!.....

Yes you could go to the nurse when your smear test is due but she will more than likely say that you will have to see the Dr. anyway so that he/she can check it out.

Of course you can and I'd suggest sooner rather than later good luck.
