Question: My mom wants to take me to the hospital and I'm scared i'm goona get a pap.... it will be my first and i'm not supposed to have sex..... is there anyway i can make it to were my mom won't know i had sex recently? I'm sorry you are having to go though something so scary at such a young age. Legally, you have every right to leave your mother out of this. Once you turn 13 there is a health information privacy act where you are the only one privy to your health information. Go to hospital with your mom but explane to her that you wish to talk with your doctor in private. Inform your doctor with full disclosure what you are going through. It is illegal for your doctor to tell your mother. However, if you will be marrying this person, should you not tell your mother? You will be surprised by the understanding we are capable of. If you do have to have a PAP, clean well. They will not be able to tell if you had sex, they will just be able to see it as an "abnormal" result. My boyfriend and I have had sex before a PAP twice and they have yet to call me and say, "Did you have sex?" Also, urinating blood probably does not have too much to do with sex only 72 hours before. Is there blood in your urine or are you spotting? Spotting is not unusual in women after sex, no matter how many times you have had intercourse. I still have this problem after years of sex. There is something wrong with urinating blood but it probably has nothing to do with sex.

If you're really "peeing blood," you will need to pee in a cup and they'll check your urine for bacteria. If there is bacteria, you will be put on medicine (antibiotic) to help clear up the infection. If the blood is coming from somewhere else (your vagina or anus), then they will need to check these other areas.
you should DEFINITLEY go to the doctor. they might ask for a urine sample or something but don't take any chances. the doctor might not even need to check. but don't take any chances with something like that and go to the doctor.

If you're peeing blood...That's bad. As much as it's hard to do, you have to tell your mom that you're sexually active. Wouldn't that be a lot easier than prolonging the situation and having something really bad happen? Was this your first time having sex? 'Cause it could've been your hymen breaking. Mine broke, then I bled for five days afterwards.
You probably just have a UTI (urinary tract infection). It is very common and a simple urine screen at the doctor's can tell you for sure. A few antibiotics, and you'll be good as new.
You probably aren't "peeing blood" sounds like you are spotting which is very common after having sex for the first time. Even if you go to the doctor you can ask your mother to stay in the waiting room.
Sounds like a bladder infection to me. Does it burn when you urinate? If so, it's probably a bladder infection. Drink cranberry juice and get to a doctor for antibiotics. It will not go away by itself. Your mother won't know you had sex if it is an infection.
The first thing they will do is a urinalysis to check the content. One thing you need to realize is that you are afraid of your mother's response if she finds out you are having sex. What about her response if you were to get pregnant? Right there you should realize that you are too young to have sex. When you can handle the consequences, be it a baby, an STD or shame, then you are mature enough for sex. I don't want to sound like I am preaching, but want you to think about the bigger picture here.

If you are peeing blood i am sure you mother already know that you are having sex. It is very important that you are honest with the doctor about your sexual history and you will need a pap. Its for your health. Peeing blood is not a good thing
Moms aren't stupid and I'm sure she knows you are having sex if you are engaged. A 16 year old isn't even an adult yet and you certainly shouldn't be engaged. Most people don't really mature and know what they want in life until they are about 25. If you are passing blood during urination you may just have an infection and need antibiotics. They check that by doing a urine test, not a pap smear. If they do decide to do a pap smear it takes about 2 seconds and doesn't hurt at all. You should tell your doctor that anything you tell him or her should be confidential which they are suppose to do anyway.
