Got an IUD the beginning of Dec.?!

Question: and I bled for about 3 weeks after that and now I havent had a period since..Is it normal for the iud to make my period stop so soon? I thought it took up to 6 months to get back to normal

That's within the range of normal.

If it's the Mirena IUD anyway (the copper IUD/Paraguard you should not miss periods).

It should take UP to 6 months, but could be shorter...

Could be its different for everyone. I got mine in end of October and by Feburary I didn't have a period anymore.
