I think tampons are better because they leave you feeling dry, unlike pads. Pads sometimes will make you feel like you wet your pants.

If you have just started your period i would recommend pads as there easier to use. but if you want to go to the beach or anything envolving water tampons would b the safer option. x
Niether is 'better', it has a lot to do with preference. You are more likely to get an infection if you use tampons improperly (keep them in too long, dont alternate with pads) but they are completely safe when used correctly. Some people find pads to be messy, and use tampons all the time. Others prefer only pads. Either is ok.

thats easy which ever you prefer i think pads are nice when you want your period to go faster there a little gross always sells the one with the individually wrapped wipe but tampons are nice to i think it all just depends on what you like
tampons.
they make you feel cleaner.
and they are completely unnoticable.
pads on the other hand...
are sticky,
and annoying.
and it feels liek your wearing a diaper.
thats just my opinion though.
give them both a try adn see which works the best for YOU. :)
I'm a guy, but this seems to be an easy one. Napkins. I cannot understand why someone would want to poke a foriegn object up inside their body when there is a viable option.
i use both.
but tampons are a life saver. you dont have to worry as much as you would with a pad.
i remember when i was in jr. high i was scared to use tampons so i would use a pad and the whole time in class i would be like "omg, am i leaking?" "if i stand up will it run down my leg?"
but now i use tampons and i'm like "what was the answer to the math problem?"

plus, tampons are neater. you dont get blood every where and you dont feel a thing.
its your personal preference. personally i like tampons better, when im wearing a pad i feel like blood is going everywhere. when your wearing a tampon and you all of a sudden feel wet, you know its time to change, but when you wear a pad you can walk around all day and not know when to change. btw when i started out i absolutely HATED pads, so i just switched to tampons, it didnt even have a effect on me. btw-use nighttime pads at night, never sleep with a tampon in
Everyone has a different preference. I use tampons during the day and just wear a pad overnite.
Tampons are more comforable.
