Can we postpone the periods for 4 days?!

Question: # One method is to start taking the oral contraceptive pill, provided there are no reasons why you should not take it. You should really start at least one cycle before the one you want to miss, so this is probably not best for you this time. But for future reference, what you do is at the end of the first pack, instead of stopping and having a period, you just carry on, and stop when you want to have the periods. You don't need to complete the second pack.

# Another method that can be used, and may be best in your case, is to take a progestogen such as norethisterone up to a week or ten days before the period that you want to postpone is due (but the earlier the better). This needs to be taken three times a day continuously until you want to have the periods, and can then be stopped. A period usually follows about 48 hours later. This method can also be used if for medical or other reasons the contraceptive pill is not suitable.

No, there is no possible way, unless you are on birth control.
But if you aren't i'm afraid you have to deal with it.
I'm 15 and i have my school's swimming sports on friday and i have my period and i won't be able to swim as i don't like tampons so i have to put up with it :( .

i hear these new birth control pills they have out can work wonders

Lolz, I don't think so, wear a smaller pad or a Mini Tampon, that are comfy if your doing someting you don't want interupted.. Maybe? You wont feel it as much?? I dont know!! lol

There are tablets the doctor can give you. You have to take them 3 days before you're due I think. And 3 times a day. Forgotten the name but go and see your doctor about it ;)
And it wasn't birth control either.

There are pills available. You have to take as long as you want to postpone. Please check with the chemist shop or your doctor.
