HELP! THIS IS SEROUS!

did she eat something unusually, something that she hasn't has before or take a med. that she hasn't had before?
as this sounds like a allergic reaction of some sort
I would check with a DR.

Was it a rash, or was it just her getting flushed (like when you get embarrassed, your skin flushes)? Did she actually have raised, red, bumps all over her, or did her skin just look red? I've been an RN, for 25 years, but I've never heard of such a thing. I don't believe she could pass it onto the baby unless she actually had an illness or some kind of contagious disease that brought on the rash. If it's just her getting flushed, it's nothing to worry about. It's probably just her hormones.
If she actually gets a raised, red, bumpy rash, I'd call her Doctor and ask about it.

Sounds like an allergic reaction to something she took, ate or even the clothes she had on. I doubt it hurt the baby but she needs to find out what caused her to do that. Have her call her doctor.

It is unlikely to pass to the baby this way. If it is an allergy and passed through the genes, there is nothing you can do about it.
