I have a iud minera now i have to have a Ultrasound to see if is still there or !
Question: The doctor felt the IUD a month ago and now that I want it out They can't find the string and I have to have a vaginal Ultrasound to see it is still there. If it is still there and they still can't find the srings what will they have to do next since I do want more kids in the future. This IUD sucks since I keep getting bacterial infections and I am not evening having sex and when I do have sex I use a condom so I don't get any infection. What can be done ??

They may be able to do a special procedure called hysteroscopy to try and retrieve the IUD that they found on the ultrasound if the ultrasound finds it. I'm also writing because I have the link to a site that may help you find more information. The link is at:
