HORRIBLE CRAMPS,please help me?!

Question: I have asked this question before, but I want some more answers.

Here it goes,
For the past two months I have had the WORST period cramps. I have only had my period for about a year and before two months ago they werent bad.But the last two times it has been so bad!My stomach hurts so bad, like someone is punching me there over and over.My head hurts just as bad. Last month it got to where I was crying hysterically on my bathroom floor because it hurt so bad. I have to actually bring my blanket and pillows in the bathroom and lay there because I will go and use the bathroom[for some reason just sitting there helps] and I dont like getting up,so ill just stay there. But its horrible, I have a little cramps today so i expect getting my period in the next few days. No one had any problems with periods except my mom,she had endometriosis when I was born.So I pretty much have no clue whats going on..

So what does it sound like?

Thanks in advance :]

If your mother had Endo and your symptoms are as you describe, you should immediately consider obtaining a diagnosis of Endo yourself. What you outline sounds like classic Endo, and a woman/girl who has a family history of the disease has an increased risk of having it herself.

You are 100% correct that what you are experiencing is NOT normal in the slightest. Everyone may suffer from prostaglandin production leading to painful uterine cramping during menses, but it is never normal to experience "killer cramps" and it is the body's way of saying something is wrong.

You definitely deserve to have a diagnosis and effective treatment. You're not alone; good luck and hope all turns out ok.

that is terrible!!!! ask a doctor please!!! they usually have some pills to make your period less..."crampy" (sorry i couldn't think of a better word). i hope it doesnt hurt as badly.
hope i helped :]
ps- i really don't think that is normal, so please (i ask again) SEE A DOCTOR

It's just cramps...
i get cramps really bad the first few days so i use a heating pad and it helps... blood clots also cause pain... but you can go to the docotor and get put on birth control and it helps the cramps sometimes too...
Hope it helps...

It may just be cramps. The first couple times I got my period, the pain was mild to non-existent. But after a few months, it's like it all settled in and the cramps hit big time. Sometimes they'd be so bad that I'd be stuck lying down unable to move. Birth control pills definitely help. Ibuprofen is better than Tylenol because it helps reduce swelling as well as killing the pain. If it's really bad, you can mix Ibuprofen and Tylenol, but just don't try mixing any other drugs. I've had doctors tell me to do that. Also, it's ok to take 3 rather than 2 ibuprofen if 2 isn't cutting it. Just make sure you eat something when you take ibuprofen.
